  5.  @warmlycalculated390  Professor Wolff has ties to France, where the CGT organized a demonstration of vaccinated health care workers in support of their unvaccinated colleagues and against mandates and passports. The FI as well as the PCF are resolutely anti-mandate. PCF members pointed out months ago that relying on workers all last year to provide essential services at risk to themselves, and then to threaten them with firing this year, is perverse. Plenty of them had COVID already.

I understand you don't want it to be known that you went over there, but there must be some confidential way to hear for yourself what Wolff said. Radical, I know. But think about it. It isn't very long, at most 20 minutes, and the main part is stated near the beginning. Do something different. No one needs to know.

  12. What does any of this have to do with employers imposing vaccine mandates on workers? A mask is like any other gear. We may have them during flu season in certain settings for the rest of our lives, probably a good idea. A vaccine goes into your body. You have to give informed consent to a medical provider.

  15.  @warmlycalculated390  The point was that any medical intervention IS UP TO THE PERSON to consent to. That isn't an opinion, it's the law. But now bosses can force you to consent? You don't see how that's an encroachment? Every leftist party and leftist union in Europe is anti-mandate. There are people who are vaccinated but decline to present their papers as a matter of principle, and there are people who are vaccinated who demonstrate in solidarity with the unvaccinated because they reject mandates. Not everyone is a Benthamite, you know.

"But just this once . . . " Under the law, an injection that you were cognitively able to consent to, but expressly declined to consent to, is a battery. Did someone tell you that right is about to be taken away? (Do you pay for cable? I never did.)
