If my town didn't have the number of shootings it does, everywhere, and especially on public transit, my head would still be in the sand. Had COVID never happened, I'd still be stumbling along, expecting everything to be all right, "probably." Well . . . no. It is not all right. I better get a grip. Your wife is a very lucky woman. Getting a tiny condo somewhere in the US, and getting out with all the rest -- my desire if I can swing it.
