  1. I taught kids in community college who were rotating the couch they slept on. What do you call them? I don't call them homeless OR housed. They are neither. In Britain, they say "sleeping rough," meaning outdoors. If they have nowhere else to go, it's called homeless. If they can double up with cousins, etc., they are unhoused. Maybe you don't know these people?
