@morganspicer3105 Why would you offer a dangerous animal to some other family, or to a shelter? How is that ethical? You consult a couple of veterinarians, and if they agree the cat is abnormal and cannot be treated or trusted, then you euthanize it. People come first.

To Gene: You can't stop your kids from doing one thing without substituting something else. Have them read good books and take them to good movies. Take them to concerts. Here's an example of what I mean: Rick Beato recently did a video on Martha Argerich. In the comments, MANY people said they have never heard of her before. (!!!!!!) Please don't let that be your kids. Also, let the kids read more mature stuff. Don't worry about that. Murakami, Houellebecq, and all that stuff, even J. M. Coetzee and Arundhati Roy are not appropriate before adolescence, but don't be afraid to get these books for a high school junior, especially if they are already 17 years old or close. Ditto for Cassavetes arthouse movies. I know this may make you nervous, but don't let it. Video games should make you nervous.
