@gmw3083 He's providing the Hollywood view. If they make a movie, this will be the backbone of the script. As long as you know it's just a story, the kind certain Americans like to tell themselves, it's not a problem. It's good to know. If you think it's real international relations, that's different.

@gmw3083 Greene's books are about the best, most original, creative, and well-written entertainment I've ever seen in book form. His editor also does high-end astrology, archetypes, that sort of thing. See the resemblance? 😉

@gmw3083 No, I am serious. But his work is an acquired taste, and is mostly aimed at warning the unsuspecting. It could be used for ill, of course. He's a great writer. I think you're right, though. If everyone used 48 Laws as a serious template, and emulated the ruthless, we might have only the very worst rise to the top.
