  6.  @tonyrmathis  Sorry. Not what the word means. Go to Cornell, look it up. Precedent is not merely a guide for the exercise of discretion, it is a constraint on the court. Precedent has the force of law. Either it applies and has to be followed, or it has to be distinguished from the case at hand in some material way.

When it became apparent that the two sides disagreed about what this one even says, and the extent of the immunity from prosecution for OTHER bad acts it offers Biden, that was the end of it. She was 100% right to reject it. It's not clear that there was an agreement.
