@da9el1 Show us these societies, and let's see whether this slogan makes any sense. There was a time when Americans had the "freedom" to own slaves. It was no one's business but their own. Then also a time when they could manipulate the stock market, or enter into agreements later made illegal by antitrust laws, etc. Let the buyer beware.

@da9el1 Does a high degree of equality make each vote count more equally, or do concentrations of wealth lead to greater efficacy in lobbying and other ways for the few to influence public policy? Which leads to greater freedom?
