Col. Douglas MacGregor is right: these types of demands are a sign of weakness.

They will be looked down on as cowardly if they bend to disgraceful pressure. They aren't traitors, though. That word is thrown around too much.

Well, duh! Why do you think they're doing this?

@davidspiller7977 "whataboutism!!!" Thanks for that. Tell everyone how credible you are, and how strongly you promote the worst hypocrisy. When did Assange owe the US allegiance?

@abcxyz-bu4bq Of course not. Watch some videos of Malofeev playing piano. Consider the last Olympics as well. It's perfectly obvious. Fear of Slavic peoples, especially those who are perceived as Eurasian, has existed since ancient times. See what minor Roman historians had to say. People don't like "different." Not exactly news.

@johnbauernfeind8116 We have had two years now to observe mobs forming. It is something surprisingly easy. I thought people had more resistance to it.

@davidspiller7977 The US didn't imprison Assange? Peltier? Two million others?

Mitrovic FFC McCarthyism had the same basis: the USSR was growing far faster than expected following WWII. Consider who they are censoring --- the most competitive. Malofeev, the greatest pianist of his generation, has denounced the invasion of Ukraine and was fired anyway. There are great American and Canadian prodigies, but Malofeev puts their best to shame. He is so good it is shocking. That is always the real story.

@Murderbot2000 Where did Dore say Putin's actions are popular? If something is unpopular, does that make it reasonable to force everyone to denounce it? I don't follow.
1
@davidspiller7977 Putin?? I am not defending Putin. His actions have strengthened the most extremist neo-Nazis in Ukraine, at least temporarily, and may not end up rooting them out at all. So far, he gave them a bigger boost than the US has. So, Putin is killing innocent people for what? Nothing at all. Obvious to anyone with a clear mind.

@davidspiller7977 If you fall for "whataboutism," right after you falsely claim the US has no political prisoners, then you are beyond reasoning with. You are a slogan repeating machine.

@davidspiller7977 "Treason does not apply to foreign nationals, who DO NOT owe any allegiance to the United States. It does apply to American citizens holding dual citizenship, and to aliens domiciled in the United States, who owe a temporary allegiance to the US while domiciled there." Words matter. Countries without a death penalty for ANY other offense have one for treason in time of war.

@davidspiller7977 Do you get your definition of treason from Whoopie Goldberg? 🤡😆😆

@Murderbot2000 I already forgot whatever this was about. I'm not going to scroll, no.

@Murderbot2000 Oh I see. You didn't understand my point. I said Putin is to blame for strengthening the neo-Nazis in Ukraine, at least temporarily, at LEAST. Too subtle for you. No wonder Whoosh. And the main point was about ASSANGE. Moreover, I want to see that speech available in full on Western media. I want RT back. No one banned ABC News after they interviewed the terrorist mastermind of Beslan.
