  2.  @slewone4905  Anyone who thinks a child living in a shelter in America is not poor is a POS. They are not only poor, but in danger of sexual assault or exploitation and school failure. A kid in America needs a COMPUTER to go to SCHOOL. Where have you been??

  7.  @slewone4905  A LOT of undernourished people are overweight. They eat prefabricated pastries and drink soda as their basic diet. Note that I am not saying the food from McDonald's is the culprit. Most of their menu is poor nutrition, but does not result in undernourishment. You can grow up on it and be more or less normal.

  8.  @slewone4905  So, you don't think that someone who lives on $1200/month in America is impoverished? Because there are poorer people somewhere else? $1200/month is plenty in some European countries. Eastern Europe, not Western, needless to say, but with a moderately Westernized lifestyle.
