I don't think the average person understands the nature of this kind of wealth -- or even the mathematics of it. A dollar is not a rigid yardstick. For Gates, $10 million is peanuts; it is worth far less than $1000 is to the average American. He can literally buy anything from almost anyone.

We already have substantial evidence that vegetarians are much less likely to die of COVID, for example, not to mention heart disease and cancer, but all the people who fell for the "paleo" craze are adamant that they won't touch a red leaf lettuce salad. Newsflash: if you take vitamin D, you better eat vitamin K-rich foods. What's behind paleo? What, and who?
