@lachlanbell8390 There is solid evidence that the vaccines lowered the risk of hospitalization and death in the very oldest patients and those with a handful of comorbidities, IN THE EARLY VARIANTS. There is solid evidence of that. Take it as you will. There was never a reason for mandates. Those were criminal, especially since the risks of vaccination were not sufficiently monitored and clearly quantified -- and the ones they knew about were minimized. Acknowledging all the facts ups your game.

@lachlanbell8390 Evidence from published studies conducted all over the world on the early, more lethal variants. That doesn't justify mandates, that doesn't mean the risk profile was acceptable, that doesn't mean people over 70 couldn't do better by staying home, eating better, using certain unmentionable prophylaxis. That doesn't mean taking away choice. You cut off my point.
