@huguesdepayen1 Well, your point that the economy is fragile is certainly right. The problem is, low wages are more likely to impede the recovery due to lack of effective demand. Low wages aren't just "an incentive" to hire. Workers who are broke and owe back rent are not going to be able to drive consumption. So businesses will have to close again. A fine line . . .

# 3.14 A small family business that does business in only in one state is probably not covered by the minimum wage law. For those that are covered, they will have to think through the current exemptions.
