This is the usual pattern: a new drug is actually beneficial to a small, small minority of people -- and even for them, it's that the benefits clearly outweigh the harm (not that there is no harm). But to profit, the drug has to be prescribed to a lot more people.

In some people, it seems to decrease the risk, and in others, it appears to cause cognitive issues. Guess what? They can't predict who will be in each group.
