I agree it should not be treated as substantively true. That a whistle-blower with access to certain classified information said he saw off-world materials is true. Does he want 15 minutes of fame? Does he need money? Or, is he reporting what he believes to be accurate? (Was he lied to? If so, why?) The point about classification of documents WE SHOULD SEE is correct.
