  1.  @januarysson5633  Way to evade my point. It is NOT possible to pass all of those costs on to the consumer. It is NOT a linear relationship, unaffected by other market forces, AT ALL. Also, you seem not to be distinguishing PROFITS and REVENUES. But what does it matter? Every American gets their Own Truth, huh? Own the 'net. Get those "likes."

  2. They collect excise taxes. Federal and state taxes on profits cannot be passed on to the end user or consumer on a linear curve, dollar for dollar, if that was what you were trying to say. Sometimes it means corporate bonuses and dividend payments will have to be cut.
