Fauci and Trump played good cop bad cop. Trump went along with Fauci when Fauci pushed the funding of gain of function research at Wuhan, and did nothing to look into it. Trump was the laziest and most disordered person to be president.

Making an audience believe you oppose vaccination while being vaccinated, or worse yet, pushing a vaccine you or your younger family members have no intention of taking, is vile. I suspect a lot of "anti-vaxxers" are vaccinated, especially if they are over 50. I also suspect a lot of pro-vaxx people are not giving it to their minor children and grandchildren. What you think? I think we are lied to a LOT.

  22. @Raining Clean Taking the numbers shown on Worldometer, our case fatality rate is now clearly below 2%, and this number scales (so that the U.S. matches my state almost perfectly). Earlier in the pandemic, it was about 2% or 2.1%. Infection fatality rate is known to be lower, but estimates range. (There is a pro-vaccine researcher who put it at less than half. But I believe the CFR is a more solid statistic.) I've seen no commentary concerning the substantial plunge in the CFR. Literally zero, though a decrease of, say, 20% would seem to merit attention. Then, in some countries, CFR is clearly below 1%. Do we hear about what they're doing? Never. Instead, we hear hate speech and bizarre rants about "anti-vaxxers," when it is known that vaccination rates among people who have a real risk from COVID are lowest in underserved communities. Just a moment of reflection brings all of this to mind. Just a moment of tuning out the din. I've lived through previous rounds of hysteria, but of course this one is the worst. They have to get bigger each time.

Studies on animals never suggest a change in clinical practice, but signal possible problems and areas of research. Jimmy also cited instructions for administration which suggested aspiration to ensure no blood vessels are reached. These vaccines contain nanoparticles and have caused excessive reactions compared to most other vaccines in history. Any discrepancy in directions for administration shows that we do not have solid knowledge, and need to do something about that.

If someone were to defame me and claim I was a pedophile, I would have to produce evidence that their claim was a lie in order to have a complete defense. In that case, my sworn testimony would be evidence. But since Jones did not witness a Sandy Hook cosplay event himself, he has to present to the jury what it was that convinced him that it happened, whatever that may have been. Sorry if this is news to you.

His testimony that someone else told him that Sandy Hook was fake is pure hearsay. He has to produce evidence that he got that information, somehow, from somebody. He has to try to subpoena that person. He has to produce writings or recodings. Since he wasn't there, he must have relied on something. Why are you so hung up on him? You think the courts in his own state of Texas were biased?

You didn't know every appellate-level court has rejected his appeals, and the Supreme Court refused to hear his case just this year, when it has quite a few judges who might be sympathetic to him? Good thing you are an expert on IQ, whew that reassures me. That way you at least know who to listen to.

  63. Sweden did have higher rates of COVID than other Scandinavian countries but overall, not dramatically so. I agree that we need to look at what other countries are doing, with an open mind and genuine curiosity, not judgment.
