  2. There were a lot of charlatans back then, sadly --- but today, the very finest doctor ALWAYS looks for a non-pharmaceutical treatment first. Drugs are often needed, but as a last resort. (Where do people think antibiotic resistance came from?)

  3.  @MeRiaNevaMynd  Emergency medicine is very good, but when it comes to chronic illnesses, or care after the person has stabilized and is on the road to recovery --- it is not good. The best doctors know it.
