@drumlessons833 I agree with your first point, but you're much too kind to liberals. They sought to gain a foothold among lower-earning PMC people, like teachers. They only rarely cared about the working class. They only cared when it was necessary to stave off the risk that capitalism might be overthrown (hence, FDR; JFK to an extent, and RFK by 1968 even more so).
