  1. A very rare bone disorder where the phosphorus needed to keep bone alive is suddenly deficient. Sometimes it is due to a benign tumor. He never said why he got it. But it is very rare, anyway, and usually treatable.

  2. I feel as a Chicagoan that I have got to add: we have to be so much more grateful to Jimmy and Stef, more than we know, because Jimmy HATES to talk about this. HATES. People wonder why he will lose his temper at times. Well, telling this story again made his wife cry. This is always a big deal, to everyone, but . . . Understand what that means to a South Sider.
