  2. ​@holdingplace Well, I would never take his word on anything, and what he did to the Sandy Hook victims is unconscionable. But when he reported on goat-spider chimera, I looked it up and found a report in The Guardian. Look it up. Since then, I sometimes do look up something he first said, and, well . . . Prepared to be shocked.

So, how can ANYONE say not to do your own research? It's your responsibility to do your own research. You are the one who has to decide.
