There are enough stories like this that a full-scale study is warranted. Same goes for excess cardiovascular events in vaccinated people under 50 after mRNA vaccines but not in others, including those who had COVID. There is too much data to ignore. They have to study it systematically. Responsible doctors and researchers are calling for it.

@laureencriss8220 SO happy you did! That there has been no progress on treating these injuries is infuriating. But I think most people will make full recoveries. Be extra kind to yourself. Remind yourself to do that.

He was vaccinated, with both doses of Astra Zeneca. He got a rare, serious reaction and could not play guitar at all, for months. Nor could they tell him he would recover.

@robertwalker7010 Jimmy's doctor strongly urged him to get vaccinated. Honest mistake. Clapton is the age where it makes sense, AND he did not take an mRNA vaccine. Also an honest mistake. They were both reasonable in what they chose.

@missp498 They wonder why trust is dead. Also odd there are no reports of serious COVID waves among the refugees yet, or the Ukrainian or Russian militaries. I would expect cases to be high because that happens in every war. What's happening this time? First the issue was painted as a conspiracy theory, then it became a rumor, soon it rose to the level of troubling anecdotes. Now they admit evidence of correlation, reason for serious concern, and are urging an immediate, systematic study. Subtext: they should have been studying it since last fall at least, and should have answers by now. They have been so generous to give us permission to ask questions. /s A post I saw: "It's war time, already? I stii have my pandemic decorations up."
