  1. @G R Except that Dore didn't "normalize" a sick band of right wingers with vastly more firepower than any of them have the character or brains to control. Dore talked to ONE guy -- a guy who, for all that Dore knows, is completely unlike any other "Boogaloo." Or, for all anyone knows, could be a complete fraud, pretending to have views he would never really hold, simply to get on this program and dupe people. Dore said so in his disclaimer, at the beginning of the video.

Now you think you have a Message to deliver to the rest of us, that no one else has ever realized in such striking fashion as you have. Yeah. We do know about Mussolini. We know about false flags. We know they are proliferating like crazy right now. We also know there is a danger in mistrusting everyone. Because at that point, everyone here can justify taking your earnestness as pure pose. IOW, this accusation could be turned against you, too. BTW, I pitied that Boogaloo guy, "Mangus," or whatever. He sounded so lost. Of course people like that are sometimes very dangerous, and often end up used and discarded. Look at the Manson family. This is one sad society. I don't think your method is the only way forward, or can even keep you safe.

  5. @G R No, just have it your way. Most comments are not written primarily for the person they were addressed to, anyway, which means they are flawed -- mine included, obviously. (BTW, your description of what Mussolini did in pretending to espouse socialism and adopting many of its symbols and slogans, being that socialism held great prestige as a theory in Italy between the wars and in Europe generally, would qualify as a (figurative) "false flag.") Why did you ignore the rest of what I said? The rest was the important part. If a lot of people here are ignorant, that isn't true of everyone. Look at it this way: you must realise that Dr. Cornel West, Aaron Mate, Max Blumenthal, Glenn Greenwald, Chris Hedges, Richard Wolff, Briahna Joy Gray, Katie Halper, Kyle Kulinski, Krystal Ball, Matt Taibbi, and on and on and on, are all very astute people, tremendously well educated, AND quite aware that Jimmy is flawed. Why do they make allowances for that? What do you think they all see in him? Sleep on it a little. It will come to you. But to make it easier, another little hint: Jimmy knows he's flawed. He never tried to put on like he wasn't.

  7. Since you think others are naive -- let me clue you in. Anyone talking about FRED HAMPTON the way Jimmy does is taking a big risk. You may not realize how big. I recommend Flint Taylor's memoir. I am stunned that he and other lawyers working on behalf of Hampton and Clark's estates, and the Attica inmates, and the victims of the systematic police torture in Chicago, lived to tell about it. Stunned, literally. Their courage is legendary. I'm not sure Dore was right in his estimation of the guy he interviewed. I nevertheless support his effort, without the least hesitation. Dore is not conflating that one person with the entire group. He's right about that part.
