  1. I just read the study, and that's not what it says. The data is from the 2017-2018 flu season, so it has nothing to do with COVID either way. People who got the flu shot were either the same as the nonvaccinated, or slightly less likely than the nonvaccinated, when it came to getting most other respiratory viruses. However, in 2017, there were coronavirus colds around, which tend to be just bad colds. People who got flu shots were more likely to get those colds. Kennedy is overstating it. It's a reason for concern, and to repeat the study now before forcing more shots on people, but not to think that flu shots will make you sicker.
