  1. Interesting. I would tend to agree. Police protection as a right degrades the notion of rights. Fire protection as a right degrades the notion of rights. A military force to protect our borders isn't anyone's right. It's enslavement of our young adults to do something we want done but refuse to do for ourselves, and it degrades the notion of rights. I'm starting to like this.

  2. France has more smoking and more cancer and a significantly longer life expectancy. Several European countries have higher cancer rates than the US, longer life expectancies and a better quality of life. There's nothing remarkable about that.
