We were given an entirely different timeline when this happened. We were told that they separated for five days when Bryan flew to Florida to clean out a storage locker and raise some funds. Then we were told that there was another incident where Gabby and Bryan were in a restaurant and he was being aggressive and she was crying. This was a very short time before she was killed.

@Jackie-il4hv Were they indicted? Is there a police or FBI report saying so?

@Jackie-il4hv Anyone can withhold information: they must invoke their right to remain silent, and then remain silent. What they cannot do is lie. Or, we can give up the First Amendment for Johnny, and the Fifth Amendment for Gabby. That's a plan.

Why is there a five-day gap in this story? It was widely reported that Brian flew back to Florida on August 17 to clean out a storage locker and get his finances together, and that he then returned to Gabby on August 23. What happened during the time Gabby was alone and could talk to her real friends and reflect? Was this report about them splitting up incorrect? If it's true and being omitted on purpose, that is misleading.

No, it was not "by the book." What would have happened if the police had handled it properly, we cannot know. Pure speculation, probably based on stereotypes.

@shnom10 No they aren't. In Florida, it is not illegal to allow your immediate family to continue to live with you.

It's not illegal in Florida to allow your immediate family to continue to live with you, regardless of what they did. Nor is it illegal to invoke the Fifth Amendment. It is illegal to lie to police, destroy evidence, interfere with their investigation, and so forth. So, did they just let him live there and refer questions to a lawyer? If that's all they did, they didn't break the law.
