@annieMalaugh-vl6oy The youngest was 14. He had to get through 4 years. These are circumstances where bankruptcy reorganization can assist you. MANY men find themselves there, and their retirement accounts are sheltered, at least. I wonder if he would have lost his job if he were to file. He blew a TON of money on lawyers, suing his ex-wife dozens of times.

I agree. I'm glad this documentary did not pursue the issue, though. She does deserve to have a chance to recover from it in private. She was likely a minor when it first happened, if it did. (And if she was a minor, where were all the other adults?)

@afdilemma8785 Not to mention two sisters. I accidentally killed a beetle a few weeks ago. I was sorry. It wasn't harming me or annoying anyone.

@jamesp9226 Good grief, the youngest was 14. So he had four measly years to make do somehow. BIG DEAL. Fourteen years old, not four. He sure did blow a lot of money on lawyers.

@Daniel_Capital It's nothing like that. He took a mother from his three girls, and turned one of them into an utter monster.

@azazello1784 Thank God for that.

Like father, like daughter.

@Daniel_Capital I'm not justifying impossible court orders -- of course they do nothing but create incentives like this. But there are two other facts here: he spent a lot on relitigating the divorce and child support: did it occur to him to consult a bankruptcy attorney? Would that have stymied him in his career? Second, the youngest was 14. Four years was light at the end of a tunnel. Four years is a lot, but a lot can happen in four years, too. You don't deprive three girls of their mom over it.

@Daniel_Capital A purse snatching is like murdering the mother of your girls? No. It's nothing like that.

How could she do this to her two sisters, too?

@rugged04270 I have no problem understanding parental alienation, and I believe this was in fact done to her. What about her two sisters? Was she alienated from them, too? She helped take their mother from them. She put the youngest in grave danger. How? There's more here.
