Not too smart. Just robot smart.

For a genius herself, somehow she missed the part where she has a right to remain SILENT. Not lie to investigators. No one has the right to lie to them. Shut up, yes. Blabber on, spouting nonsense -- no. Most children understand the difference.

She's a snugglie. Isn't that like a furry?
2
Yes. It speaks to the fact that she comes from a traditional, collectivist south-east Asian culture and never assimilated. You'll note the judge made a point of stating in court that our society does not hold his parents responsible. It holds him responsible.
2
The real irony is that these two geniuses don't know that you have a right to remain silent, but that you do not have any right to lie to law enforcement, ever.
2
This is who runs our lives. This is why things are the way they are.
1
Please. Do you not understand that she is from an entirely different culture? She said she blames herself. She actually means it.

@swallowedinthesea11 Thank you. A DIFFERENT culture. Different cultures are real.

@redacted2275 💯

@staceyshaffer180 Well this is ironic. People are attacking her for taking responsibility AND blaming her for raising him. No one can raise a murderer. What's the formula? Some kids who were held responsible for everything fail to develop compassion and become cold, hard criminals, or LE who break laws. Some kids who were pampered become doctors and save lives.

@wolfpack3812 If everyone here is an expert on raising kids, why are kids so bad? Because they are.
1
@wolfpack3812 This is why people with your life experience are excluded from juries. You see too much of your tormentor in other people. Where do you see that this mother actively sought to cover up known crimes? Was your ex Asian?
1
@wolfpack3812 Learn about different cultures, it's fun. Or don't, in which case you won't know.
1
@wolfpack3812 Oh I see what the conversation was about. You assimilate this case to your own experience. So, was your ex Asian?
1
Wrong. She had a right to remain silent and no duty to help law enforcement. What she had no right to do was to lie to the detectives, even if she only said, "I'm not sure." That was false.
1
No. It is evidence that she comes from an entirely different culture.

@user-tz2ch1im3r Oh, you know Asia now. How long have you lived there? Or is this based on bad moovies?
