When a kid is punished for an unequivocally victimless crime, and you know they are clinically depressed, take their side. Period. And why would you send them off to work that night? They belong at home that night. Call the job yourself, apologize, and say there was a family emergency. It will be a night off with no pay, obviously, so what's the big deal??
