You're right, that part is wonderful.

Everyone knows moms like them. That's why it is so upsetting.
3
@Stefanie3 That is exactly what they're saying. I decided to emigrate by 2025, nearly two years ago. I didn't know how sorry I'd be that I didn't take the steps in 2019, once I knew. I don't want to grow old and fragile HERE. Heck no. My closest relatives here all died out. I don't have a crew to protect me any more
3
@Stefanie3 Neighbors? Really?? Yes, my closest relatives live in Bar, known as "Antibari" in ancient times, because of the shipping route between Bar and Bari, Italy.
3
I'm surprised she believed her. I'm serious.
3
@privateaccount1366 Thank you so much!
3
Had he made money doing this very thing, abusing a wage worker, he would have been proud. He would have been preening, on television, at cocktail parties . . . These people are empty.
3
Yes, this is the usual correlation. It is not a necessary connection, particularly in a virus that is not highly lethal, but you're right, it certainly is what usually happens.
3
@JordonDev Exactly. Not to mention we all know there are young athletes who cannot go back to their sport for 6 to 9 MONTHS, due to signs of cardiovascular inflammation. Serious stuff.
3
@RachMonPhoebs I can see a lot of this story is being whitewashed, which makes it less effective as a lesson for others, but there is no way someone can claim to know that Gabby played a major role in mutual abuse. That's at most a wild guess, and it says something about the person doing the guessing. There is no basis to think so.
3
@kitcat901 If you care so much, you might take ten seconds to read the law. You'll be fine. I promise.
3
@kala3019 The misinformation is this video. They were apart for nearly a week, when Brian flew to Florida alone to clean out a storage unit and sell some things to raise money. We need to figure out why she didn't flee. She was alone and had her van. She could have mailed his possessions back to him and gone blank, taken a new route home, gotten a burner phone.
3
@fthurman She can ask for more. Only pain and suffering/emotional wounds have a limit, although legitimate treatment for diagnosed PTSD has to be compensated, even if she has insurance.
3
@battle619 The kind who needs help desperately. You do not report on family to LE except to prevent an imminent violent crime. You speak to doctors, lawyers, psychotherapists. You seek alternatives.
3
@divinerevelation.777 I agree he should have a good job, for which he is qualified. I'm sure there are many such jobs that don't have C-suite high profiles. C-suite is the public face of a company -- that is what he was. How did he ever imagine a clerk at a drive through window is as well? It's not a mistake like all of us make. If the video had gone viral and he had gotten lavish praise from everyone, and maybe a stint as an MSNBC commentator on LGBTQ issues in the modern workplace, he would be proud. He would never have given that young woman a second thought, much less an apology! You know, sometimes the harassed person is the one to lose their job, not the harasser.
3
@John-kv7jo How is that relevant? He was in obvious distress. Why do police in all the affluent suburbs carry Narcan, and administer it so often? I find that bizarre, by the way, but it works.
3
The 1980 election was our single biggest mistake.
2
@jrag1000 So well said. Yes, you're right.
2
I'm opposed to the choice they made AND I want them released to America immediately.
2
That's all well and good, but why should he have such a lucrative job? These jobs ARE public relations jobs. Hence he is objectively unqualified. What else doesn't he know?
2
Just to be clear, of course he should have a job. A good job, commensurate with his education and skills. Just not the jobs he thought he was entitled to.
2
@peeks7165 Then why do minors have to be vaccinated to protect older people? That was your point.
2
@peeks7165 "LOL"
2
@peeks7165 I was responding directly to your comment. If the old are all vaccinated, why should young people be vaccinated to protect older people? Older people are protected already. There may be very good reasons for the young to be vaccinated, but you didn't present one.
2
@TheMroldtimer And they should get vaccinated to save themselves (why? they're "uneducated troglogytes"), or to save you? (Because they should love you very much.)
2
@Jacob King The only valid comparison is to the risk of contracting COVID and developing the same or worse complications. I've had mild heart conditions. I could live to 95 with them (my grandmother did), but they were life-altering. But this is America. I don't count. I get that part.
2
@TheMroldtimer You know all these people? And they should listen to someone who abuses them? False flag here? Would that be you?
2
@TheMroldtimer So, a parent reluctant to vaccinate a minor child with a non-FDA approved vaccine is a "troglodyte" who doesn't care about human life? Even if they themselves were vaccinated, and their kid is up to date on all approved vaccines, and they still use masks indoors? They aren't allowed to wait for more information? Why would that be?
2
@BluRey100 Wouldn't it be interesting if one of these ingredients isn't good for some people, and that the myocarditis has nothing to do with the mRNA or "spike" proteins in general? Nothing would surprise me.
2
@Mirv063 Yes, the risk of myocarditis and the severity is greater in COVID than from any vaccine. But what is the risk of contracting COVID? Irony that those opposed to taking the vaccine are often opposed to essential precautions like masks.
2
@lisaschuster9187 What do you mean by forgiven? I would have given him a new job immediately. Just not the sort of job he imagined he was entitled to.
2
This didn't happen on US soil.
2
This did not occur on US soil.
2
The doctors are monsters.
2
@Stefanie3 I have to move, my family is in Montenegro now, on the coast. (Poor me, huh? LOL)
2
@Stefanie3 Unfortunately, the gun issue is bad. I hate to admit that if we are in a relatively safe area, we get used to it. There is no part of my city that I frequent that does not have an annual shooting. This is what we consider safe. I wish I were exaggerating. But to be candid, you do get a sixth sense about it, to some extent. It's not an illusion, you really do get street smart -- to an extent. I'd rather not know!
2
@Stefanie3 You are really kind. I appreciate that a lot. Yes, my family in the States simply died out. These things happen. (They were all WWII refugees.) Being alone doesn't suit me, frankly. These have been hard times.
2
@Stefanie3 Yes, I do. Sardinia! How wonderful! I'm happy for you. Isn't it strange how different the US looks from the outside? As for Montenegro, it's sheer luck. I haven't had too much luck in life, but when you consider that maybe one million human beings are Montenegrin, I guess it's special to be one! :)
2
@Stefanie3 Thank you so much. At a time like this, I want you to know that means a lot.
2
@MiraculousAngelTarot They were apart for nearly a week. This infotainment fails to mention that.
2
All of this is irrelevant anyway. I don't know why they are confusing the issue. It's purely an obfuscation technique. You cannot shorten the life of a fragile person, or a suicidal person, or a clearly DYING person. That is a homicide. It doesn't matter if he would have been dead later that night. The defense tactic to push this line is wanton, and misleading. They are doing the whole body politic a disservice. Someone needs to speak up against it.
2
I hope she gets a long hug every day from everyone in her family.
2
After seeing the remaining segments, either the reporting was somewhat unfair to detectives, or they took too long to grasp what was going on. The documentary may have been exaggerated, to create suspense. I hope so. Too many clues to overlook.
2
If it is meaningful to say that you love someone you've never met, then I love her. A true hero.
2
I'm so sorry. Tell her to LOVE HERSELF.
2
@jjandb1 The timeline is wrong. They were apart for nearly a week, when he returned to Florida by plane and she had the van. She had the golden opportunity to flee.
2
@kitcat901 Please cite the statute and elements of the crime.
2
@Effoff027 Well first of all, suing the estate of Brian Laundrie and winning meant the Petitos obtained custody of everything that ever belonged to him -- every book, every post, every email, every journal, every little scrap of paper. That's important. That is a small measure of justice.
2
@kitcat901 Try reading 777.03. It's obvious you didn't. It excludes immediate family.
2
@Digger-Nick Your opinion is irrelevant.
