@krispeekream His point that police handled this badly is correct. But he was assuming that she was the perpetrator in that particular incident, when she may have been the one acting in self-defense. The police didn't investigate properly or follow the law.

@taylorfrink1182 Because this report is misleading. They were apart for almost a week. She did have a chance. The moral of the story: you cannot trust the media. They could have told the truth in this video and actually helped people.

@pfjohnson1964 Read the law. Letting immediate family continue to live with you is not illegal in Florida. As long as you don't obstruct police or lie to them or destroy evidence, you've broken no law. Real simple.

@RachMonPhoebs I can see a lot of this story is being whitewashed, which makes it less effective as a lesson for others, but there is no way someone can claim to know that Gabby played a major role in mutual abuse. That's at most a wild guess, and it says something about the person doing the guessing. There is no basis to think so.

@kala3019 The misinformation is this video. They were apart for nearly a week, when Brian flew to Florida alone to clean out a storage unit and sell some things to raise money. We need to figure out why she didn't flee. She was alone and had her van. She could have mailed his possessions back to him and gone blank, taken a new route home, gotten a burner phone.

@mrabene87 They have sued for many millions -- Brian's estate, Brian's parents, the Moab police. Brian's estate was for possession of all of his books, papers, videos, posts, emails, etc. Good move, Brian's parents did not fight that.

Brian's parents had a right to allow him to live there, and they had the right to remain silent, as long as they did not lie to law enforcement or destroy evidence. THAT would be a serious crime. You can never lie to police, and especially not when they are investigating a homicide.
