@chad3232132 It is never wrong to ask for an attorney and remain silent. Literally never.

Mjira Achieng And I think that's nuts. Well, no wonder we incarcerate more people than China does.

Mjira Achieng And you don't see anything wrong with that law? There is a movement now to get rid of it entirely. You don't see why?

Mjira Achieng The felony murder laws need to be gotten rid of for a whole host of reasons. The fact that they're used against minorities, and to squeeze accomplices to turn state's witness, are right near the top.

@thomasmacisaac1503 Thanks, both points excellent.

@Titan_319 Was responding to a different point, concerning invoking constitutional rights. But anyway.

@kommisar. If you continue to seize upon small parts of an old discussion, and start an argument with the voices that are found only in your head, and have nothing to do with anything anyone out in the external world has actually said, or believes, you might want to think about whether this pandemic, and the (too-often) ill-advised government response to it, has affected your health. "A word to the wise is sufficient."

@kommisar. In fact, did it cross your mind, especially this week, that there are intermediate charges that a wrongdoer may face, between murder and nothing? We will see a version of the foreseeability issue play out in the cases of Crumbley's parents, and possibly even the school officials. I'll be interested. Haven't found the indictment of the parents posted yet, just that of the actual shooter, but involuntary manslaughter was mentioned at the news conference. (Apparently Michigan has no gun safety laws that apply directly. Such laws would crush MAJORITY rights, after all.) /s
