Were you a minor when you met, or barely an adult? Or a college sophomore, first time away from home? Were you engaged? Has he proposed? Has he said he was thinking about marriage? . . . Say, how old is he? LOL

@justaname999 I truly hope that by now, people know to check research in the actual journals, and never to rely on videos. The NIH maintains a free library. I knew about vaccine issues, from actual studies, before my doctor did.

@maika2449 Oh really? I cannot imagine doing it. First of all, if someone did this to me, I'd want to put time and distance between us as fast as I could. Revenge is engagement. Hurting someone back is continuing to be involved. No thanks. Yuck.

@yangzone7773 What does that have to do with self-help advice based on neurology? In any event, I literally always check other sources, including first of all the NIH medical library, AAAS publications, and the like. I never do anything without vetting the information, and would do the same for saints or sinners.

@badomaji Is it realistic to expect fidelity before engagement and marriage? To try to make a man exclusive who shows signs of not desiring that sort of relationship is simply a gamble. A mature woman knows she is taking a risk. The funny part is that a lot of his followers assumed he was gay. I pity guys like him. If he did anything illegal, go after him in court. Going to a magazine is lame.

@Anabee3 Where did he advocate for deceiving anyone? If he committed a crime, or did anything that could give rise to a lawsuit, absolutely take him to court and call him to account. Or, go to the press, get the Internet to condemn him, and so forth. That's a person's right, too -- but I don't respect that. When you enter into any affair and marriage isn't on the table, you know you're taking a chance. From what he has said, quite openly, about his misspent youth, it is not a shock to me that he has relationship problems now. I wouldn't have dated him.

@iche9373 How is his lifestyle "sexist?" Women cheat, too. I'd have to check the percentage of babies born to someone other than the putative father. It's not huge but it's tiny, either. Sometimes the putative father has to pay child support, too.

@GrapeCheez2 Did you ever listen to his videos? It's not about his private life, except to say that he was a mess in high school and was very lucky he got another chance to straighten up and do a PhD. Sounded authentic to me.

@iche9373 If they are telling the truth, you mean? I care when the law instrumentalizes human beings, which I can assure you it does. When affluent adult women take a chance and it doesn't work out, well . . . If he did anything illegal or actionable, of course hold him responsible. In a real court and everything, where both sides have an opportunity to be heard, under oath.
