Why didn't her normal friends tell her to go to a psychiatrist immediately?

@darkdemonqueen When I was a kid, divorced women would never marry a man who did not agree to adopt the children and raise them, nor did they date casually, much less allow a man to live with them unmarried. Even engaged didn't cut it. How times have changed. What you said may not be popular, but it's usually right.

She could have actually been joking. People in that state of mind do. She was in an abnormal psychological state, totally divorced from reality.

@rhondasisco-cleveland2665 I know. And there was a week for her to get help. If only a psychiatrist could have told her, if you engage with anyone to do them harm, you will be tied to them for life. Get away and close the door. Don't let anyone tell them where you went. Then after calming down, if you decide to report what they did to you, see a lawyer and seek justice. Lawsuits have an end date, and suing can actually protect you, since the other party cannot legally talk to you but only to your attorney.
