Meghan is the only child of an only child. Neither her nor her mother had full siblings. That's why her mother was her only guest. Her mother was her only relative, before Harry and Archie.

@pamcornelius9122 Look, family is family. Every family has its own little ecosystem, and EVERY family has problems. And everyone knows that if someone confides in you about their family problems, that is never an invitation to take sides, or even to give your pointed opinion without being asked. Meghan did pay for her mother's MSW degree after she started making money. Most kids don't do that. (Most parents don't go back to school, either.) You don't know what she went through as a biracial child. It is probably a lot more than any of us could imagine. I wonder how many people with her life would be struggling to pay the bills, much less achieve anything remarkable. And as for Harry, everyone knows he and his grandfather were close. It was obvious. They had more in common than Philip had with a lot of his other descendants. The names of Harry's kids tells you that.

I like her. She's the only child of an only child. Once she started making money, she put her mother through school, for an MSW. That's not an ordinary girl.

@maaduufan5140 She didn't grow up with her father. Her mother never remarried. Unusually small family. She said she didn't research Harry because she knew he would tell her all she needed to know.

@gabriellazordan She was the only child of her two parents, and she inherited her father's house, and that's where she stayed. She was married one time, and divorced quite young, barely over 30, and never remarried. I never said she had no relatives. She's a little different. So? And when she and her daughter could afford it, she got her MSW. To my mind, she rocks. I could dig a Mom like that.
