Who reported Jeffrey Epstein? Do you know anyone who ever stood up on behalf of a victim? In your experience?

Yes, that's why the paparazzi who took photos of Princess Diana while she was dying were investigated. If they took a picture before summoning for help, they committed a crime, even if they only got there after the accident and had no part in causing it. Non-assistance to a person in danger was often charged when I lived in France, and charges would be reported on the radio. It was taken very seriously.

@cpi3267 In fact, in the Rittenhouse case two people intervened who believed -- wrongly -- that they were stopping an active shooter. You know, like the one that neither the school nor the parents stopped, over in Michigan? Maybe if guns for kids were neither legal nor part of the culture, these tragedies for everyone involved, including the underage shooters, could be avoided? (Crazy idea, huh?)

@cpi3267 Bad talking point. Defense of property with lethal force is a crime. You can only defend life and limb with lethal force, not property.
2
@cpi3267 No. One psycho. One psycho showed up and tried to take his gun, while his friend fired the first shot. But have it your way. And be sure to arm those minors, especially for Christmas.

It's generally false. If you had nothing to do with the crime, then in general you can only be prosecuted for disobeying a court sub poena to testify truthfully. You have to testify, and tell the truth, if called. There is no general law requiring anyone to report crimes they had no part in. Hence Epstein.

@exnihilonihilfit6316 Oh really? So, if you come upon someone dying, take a picture and sell it? But don't call 911. Or, shoot a dead person. The picture will sell for more. Weeee!!!!

@exnihilonihilfit6316 Moral? Who reported on Jeffrey Epstein? Or on Clinton? Or Gates? Who stands up to stop illegal harassment at work, even of minors? I have never once heard anyone say a word. I have seen people join in, however.

@exnihilonihilfit6316 Please keep it up, you are perfect. There is no need whatsoever to reply.

He's close to 40 years old now.

@Sajadela Didn't find any. (?)

@Sajadela Most people have the most tenderness at 17 or so. He's not that different from most people. Who reported Jeffrey Epstein? Who gave him a sweetheart deal on a plea? Epstein did some things that could have killed someone, and certainly could have provoked suicide. When Bill Gates' own wife told him to drop Epstein, he scoffed. "It's just dinner."

I think he's only a little worse than typical. What do you imagine people are like?

@jenniferlane9000 If he's rich, they are proud. They got over it.

@cht2162 Who reported on Jeffrey Epstein? (Who is following the Maxwell trial now?) These people frequented presidents and royals. Just look at all the people who stood up against the Holocaust, and dropping two atom bombs in three days apart.

@sodone4078 You're not a lawyer. Don't spread misinformation. Someone might believe you and shoot an unarmed kid in the back, fleeing from your house with something they grabbed from an open back door.
1
@sodone4078 ALL THOSE LAWS pertain to inhabited structures. Self-defense IS OF THE PERSON.
1
@sodone4078 The first thing out of people's mouths is that "Kyle was defending property." If that were true, he'd be in jail. Kyle was defending his life, and proved that. "Castle doctrine' played absolutely no role in this case by any stretch. Not even a teensy bit.
