  1. Can someone explain to me how unidentified DNA remains uninvestigated at a murder scene? And how character witnesses that have a financial interest in seeing a conviction are not impeached?

  2.  @mellie4174  She also might have been involved, but to press the story that she herself did it seems to be incoherent. If they cannot figure out the nature of her possible involvement, and prove it to a jury, our system is supposed to let her go. It's not supposed to try to get her to plead, after denying her a fair trial already. (BTW, getting a defendant to plead is often done to prevent a civil rights suit for damages.)
