  3. I've really bought too many books and stationary since the pandemic, though I always had that problem. This video (mostly) put my mind at rest. When books are due at the library, I make a point to return them. If someone else has placed a hold on the book, even if I have a right to keep it, I return it. I always feel glad to do that. I never have trouble finding a book, I always know where it is. Getting rid of things that have outlived their purpose also gives me satisfaction, especially if I can recycle or donate, but throwing them out is fine. I wonder whether buying too many books may be related to stress during the pandemic. (The description of the clutter is not applicable.)

  4. I was exactly like that, and now have too many books and too much stationary. I couldn't understand hoarding, either. Seeing stuffed animals in people's bedrooms after 6th grade used to puzzle me. Now, I wouldn't mind a few mementos.
