  5. Everyone should watch the Frontline documentary The Confessions. Must be seen to be believed. Four innocent people spent years in prison because one of them was so disordered that he became willing to say anything a person in authority over him wanted to hear, and another felt guilty over having been attracted to the murder victim, who was his neighbor's wife. He never approached her. He had emotional problems as well. Both of these men suffered from excessive, lifelong shyness around women. You have to watch to see how these vulnerabilities led to seven suspects in total, four incarcerated, none guilty. (The detective on the case was later convicted of fraud in a separate case.) Had they had therapy in time . . . If only!
