@TK2692 As it turns out, the police officer who died was not beaten. People inside the capitol were unarmed. The arms that were found were in locked vehicles outside the capitol. This was horrifying enough. No need to exaggerate it.

The question was, were the insurrectionists ever close to getting their hands on her? (No.) Was her fear nevertheless genuine? (Yes, absolutely.) Could she be playing up her trauma, for self-aggrandizement? We don't really know. She may be. I don't impute something like that to anyone in those circumstances, and even in less dangerous circumstances. They are entitled to their voice.
