  3. I think you are right that this is one of those cases that requires deeper digging. I can't form an opinion either way. I am often disappointed when it appears detectives did not investigate other possible theories. But with her luggage and other items missing, why wasn't she concerned about a burglary? Is it possible she was too scared to tell what she knew? Where did the money for the new house come from? Follow the money.

  4.  @thereal4113  I tend to think she's guilty -- unless there is someone out there who really, really wants us to think she is. "Tend to think" certainly leaves plenty of room for reasonable doubt. The money issue needs to be scrutinized. Something is not clear here. One thing IS sure: there are people in the world who show no mercy toward those who owe them massive debt. And they see her as expendable as him. She presents a weird combination of competent and stupid. Not impossible, but . . . hmm.
