@jamescook6564 The "truth" is there is no such thing as mental illness, there are only a lot of stupid jerks who need public humiliation to set them straight? I can see how some people would come to that conclusion. They could, for example, start with themselves . . .

@Marta-to1mf Expecting prominent individuals with doctorates in psychology to be fair where money is concerned is at best naive and at worst so obviously ignorant as to be blameworthy -- is that your point? Actually thinking that someone as prominent as Dr. Phil would choose not be grotesquely unfair at someone's expense for laughs, even though legally he is covered, is not understandable? Okay. Maybe you're right.

@thenightporter True enough -- but you don't find that deliberately misleading? We can discuss whether it's acceptable anyway (people ought to know by now, they are in on the gag and benefit from it, etc.), but I don't think you can deny it's misleading.
