@bamboo851 What you know about Dylan is what is in the affidavit, which is in the affidavit because she voluntarily cooperated with police. Sheesh, this is one time you should let LE do its job, period.

@bamboo851 I don't necessarily find her actions innocent, or easily explicable. That does not mean that I'm going to generate the most damning hypothesis possible, when there is no evidence for it -- yet. That is really jumping the gun. Also, what are your sources? Are you sure they are accurate? I've heard a ton of speculation about this case already, that does not line up with the affidavit, which is the only probable cause information we have so far. Suppose you are right. What do you get out of being right first? It's more an accident than a sign of being a good armchair detective. I think this case has a lot of unanswered questions -- which is what they are, unanswered. I think no one wants to believe the story of what happened. That's a factor. People feel a need to embellish it because it hits too close to home, and seems impossible. I feel the same.

@bobhope4949 You mean you read the whole sentence to get to that part? You give me hope. (See what I did there?)

@leaf16nut Nor do we know whether those were her exact words. A probable cause affidavit is technically hearsay, and the police take down material facts, not exact quotations unless they are material to securing the arrest and no bail for the suspect. That is their goal.

@bobhope4949 Thank you for replying, it gives me an easy way to block another person who needs to look in the mirror. Yawn.

@bamboo851 The story of the unconscious person changed several times. I also heard that one of the roommates fainted, and was thus the unconscious person. And no, I didn't buy into that explanation, either. We don't have an explanation yet. I expect some unpleasant surprises. :/

@bamboo851 I don't have an opinion at all. I suspend judgment very easily. If it turns out, based on evidence tested in a court, that you're right, I will not be shocked at all. I even refuse to jump the gun and assume Kohberger is guilty. No, I am not a dupe of YT, and I don't own a television. I can maintain the presumption of innocence for everyone accused or suspected. It's not an opinion for me, it's a principle. I didn't believe anyone fainted either; nor did I deny it, actually. I don't know either way. I'm curious, do you have knowledge that is not available to the public? I don't expect you to answer, but you seem to be speaking as though you did. I'm sure there are people who do.

@leaf16nut Then you have no understanding of what a probable cause affidavit is. Sorry to burst your bubble. No, there is no reason to believe it contains an exact quote. Police aren't biographers. Not their goal.

@leaf16nut Actually, it's you who's not worth my time, but that's the new Low Self-Awareness gig.
