The complaint against U of Virginia is on the Reason magazine website. A lot more happened to Bettinger, and the suit is not against Bryant. Bettinger's father died and her mother was crippled.

@RichardHeadGaming False. Ask a real lawyer. As a general rule, a private business can decide to hire anyone they chose, and it does not imply endorsement of that person's prior bad acts. There are certain exceptions, of course: hiring a convicted felon for a sensitive position where they may be in contact with vulnerable people is negligence. Armed security guard would be an example; advertising spokesmodel would not.

@RichardHeadGaming Of course, you can sue, but the corporation would have the suit dismissed and get court costs from you. It might even ask the court to fine the lawyer for filing frivolous lawsuits.
