@kristinchamberlain531 I think a lot of the Russian interference is experimentation. They try to float something, then wait to see whether there will be a reaction. It's one of the things they do to collect intelligence. I believe they do it all the time.

But it's simply true. A lot of it is experimentation, frankly. They try something, then watch what effect it will have, if any. It is a way of gathering information. The US is constantly threatening the RF. They consider these moves against the US to be "self-defense."

@reginaldstubtoe4185 It may not make sense to you, but it is a well-known tactic of theirs, and a way to collect intelligence and test propaganda. But have it your way.

@Internetbutthurt I have seen evidence, though not from American sources. I knew that by the time of Reagan. Who didn't?

@Internetbutthurt I'm not going to post links, as the entire post is likely to be shadowed or censored, but my main sources are Stephen F. Cohen (books, and articles in The Nation) and the BBC documentarian Adam Curtis. Both are controversial in different ways. I read/watch critically, and can put together the pieces for myself. I know I've used other sources, including RT and RT in France as well, etc., but my main ones are Cohen and Curtis. Cohen is certainly not unsympathetic to USSR or RF, and Curtis is not exactly a fan of the US.

@Internetbutthurt You misunderstood. I've had a good idea of how much the US lies, at least since Reagan. I wasn't living in America during most of Reagan. Though to be honest, America lies so much that it's naive for anyone to claim they can keep up.

@Internetbutthurt I found an article in The Nation right away. I loved Cohen, what a loss. Nearly all of Hillary-promoted Russiagate was nonsense, or worse. I hope you don't think I'm crediting that story.

@kristinchamberlain531 A propensity to believe in Russiagate is based on prevailing racial stereotypes. It would be very hard to get Americans to believe these things about any Westerners.
