  2. Not to mention that some of the tribal leaders who were supposedly our "allies" in Afghanistan had child sex slaves. US service members were in some cases ordered to ignore it. One American soldier who couldn't ignore it and tried to put a stop to it was assassinated. This was all reported by the NYTimes, as well as the independent press, of course. They couldn't hide it.
