  1. Tremendous guest, thank you. Why don't more people know about Dr. Horne? I love the latest fiction: that college is a hotbed of radicalism. The most common major by far is, of course, Business, and has been for many decades -- more than a generation. The next most common majors are in Biology and the health sciences. A general business degree, without advanced math or accounting, often won't be a college-level program. It's there as a demonstration of obedience, to reassure your future employers. An art degree from a top school is a better education.
