  1. Admission: I did not believe anyone in the Trump administration had one iota of competence, and I was surprised that any competent person would want to be part of that administration. Clearly I was wrong, as Aaron's interview proves. At least one such person exists.

  2. Your hyperbole is mild at most. A substantial minority of Anglo-Saxons have always endorsed Nazi "racial" hierarchies, for one thing. Hell, the rat line wasn't purely cynical. There was real sympathy for a lot of these monsters.
