@briandingle665 I thought "advice" was something the patient or his guardian could consider, and accept or reject. That was what "advice" used to mean.

@briandingle665 He had COVID and weathered it easily. Not paying attention, are we?

@TheMansfieldlad The burden of proof for a proposition is on the one who advances it. If I, who am exceptionally well read, have never come across any evidence for a proposition, I want to know why you find it compelling. Only you can tell me. Even if I do the research, I have no idea what evidence persuaded you. But you do. So tell me.

@Getonwithit204 You got my point. What did you think I meant? John did not invent the story. He presented an article from a newspaper. So how is he misleading vulnerable people?
3
Have you heard the latest? Paxlovid is essentially worthless.
2
I'm sure that is in the court record, and NO she should not try her case in the press.
2
@angeladibble Dr. Campbell isn't an attorney or a witness. I'm on her side and want her to win, and be compensated. Be serious.
2
@TheMansfieldlad Also, the person said the fact they advanced concerning the law was "likely." What is their basis for that? Legal requirements are not opinions.
2
@BrokenGlass2024 Out of curiosity, do you know of any cases where you are sure CPS removed a child for this reason? I know of a custody dispute where the judge was going to take custody from the mother and give it to the father, but even the father's attorney said that they were not suing her on that basis. It caused quite a stir. The judge reversed himself over the weekend.
2
Sounds very americanized, frankly.
2
@Parawingdelta2 Social Darwinism
2
Oh now I get it. Impotent activism.
2
Then why weren't the labs shut down, at least pending review? Just kidding.

@jamesparry1547 Just one message above the question.
1
@jamesparry1547 My reply to your Q ended up in a shady forest.
1
@LisaTh-3-d I hope that what I just posted is up. EDIT: NOPE not permitted.
1
@user-id3xd1nx1m I did a huge edit, might be all right now. SMH Of course I had to eliminate the really hard questions. Nope. Still . . . We can't say what anymore, either.
1
@briandingle665 YT is protecting you from real questions of ethics. What do you think of that?
1
@jamesparry1547 I can't. My previous post telling you . . . Well, . . .
1
@briandingle665 Quite the contrary.
1
@briandingle665 Reported for hate speech, blocked.

He has? Not all the lies spread about these vaccines by governments, possibly in order to enrich the already rich? (Of course, that might have been purely accidental. :) I don't tell anyone else what to do. I back off. It's too personal of a decision. I can't do anything for them if something should go wrong. Hence, I have no right to prey on their panic. Who is still distributing these vaccines to the general public, as opposed to targeted populations, such as the elderly in nursing homes, or those over 50 with certain comorbidities? No one in Europe. Campbell never suggested any vaccine was a cure, what a bizarre non sequitur. Effective vaccines have always provided more complete and long-lasting immunity than any of these did. They were recommending five inoculations during the first two years in the US. Have you ever heard of a single vaccine with such a protocol? Not once in history.
1
MRNA as a type of vaccine is entirely new. Every major country had at least one COVID vaccine that was non-mRNA, though some of those had serious side effects.
1
@briandingle665 Evidence?
1
@TheMansfieldlad Wrong. I'm an attorney, and evidence is my area of expertise, as are burdens of proof. So . . . I really mean it. You are welcome to believe that I shouldn't mean it, but whether, in fact, I do is not something you get to dictate.
1
@TheMansfieldlad By the way, have you ever been in a classroom where someone whips out a smartphone, (apparently) to check a fact, and announces it to the class? How are other people supposed to weigh that? Hmm? 🤔 They have no idea what he's looking at on his Magic Phone.
1
@TheMansfieldlad The first comment was general, the second, specific. Glad I could clear that one up.

@BrokenGlass2024 My Circuit had a giant class action against CPS for exactly such overreach, and the parents won on most of their claims. Prominent attorneys who are known in the field and a major law firm took their case. They also sought damages for defamation, but I don't remember at the moment how those were framed. Do you know what a Circuit is? (Federal Court of Appeals) Do you know what "overreach" is? (Stuff like this.) Do you know how to find a published case? Have you ever seen one? Is your legal education from your Facebook friends?
1
@BrokenGlass2024 You'll notice I took no position on whether the doctor was legally mandated to report her because of this in UK. I don't have any idea. If the case is unusual, and made the papers for that reason, then I have to wonder. Do you think it was ethical not to warn her that she was mandated to consent? In any case, the class action I mentioned dealt with these specious assertions of neglect against parents -- if you can see that reply.

@briandingle665 EVIDENCE?
1
@Getonwithit204 This article is a misrepresentation? Or, he's making it up? There was no article? 😂😂😂
1
@chrisbarron5861 In another thread, he claimed he was a doctor. I asked him some questions pertaining to ethics but you know what happened to that post.
1
@chrisbarron5861 I'm a lawyer with expertise in ethics, medical ethics, and the Daubert standard for expert witness testimony.
1
@chrisbarron5861 "briandingle665" is who I was referring to. It doesn't matter, he can't see what I asked, so he can't respond. I thought the spelling quip was funny, as I do expect professionals to spell well, but we all know what autocorrect (and fear of editing) has done to that.
1
@chrisbarron5861 I answered you, but . . . oh well The scents errr is very unpredictable as well as ubiquitous.
1
@Getonwithit204 No, it isn't. I read actual research from the NIH library of medicine, among other things. If I say more, you won't get to read it anyway. To be frank, I know not to trust anyone without checking sources. And rather than engage in ad hom, why not state clearly what is missing from this presentation that was in the article and that is relevant to this legal-ethical issue?
1
@Getonwithit204 I NEVER advised ANYONE on medical matters, not EVER. I never attempted to influence anyone, either. These are highly personal decisions, and our knowledge base for making them was limited. Of course, by contrast, I was subjected to coercion. How dare you make baseless accusations?
1
@Getonwithit204 So, did the mother win this lawsuit? That's the key issue, is it not? From what you've said, I would think so. The mother does not have the burden of proof, those trying to prove her medically negligent do. And they can't. Correct?
1
@Getonwithit204 I offered to accompany a person I know who lives alone to their vaccination. As a reward, they tried to browbeat me and shame me into getting one.
1
@Getonwithit204 Not BY the NIH, but the NIH LIBRARY. I see you have zero familiarity with the open resource, which is outstanding.
1
@Getonwithit204 I'm stating what happened to me, personally. I am not in the UK. This has zero to do with a youtuber.
1
@Getonwithit204 I happened to be better educated than Dr. Campbell. Hence, I investigate on my own. And I would in any event.
1
@Getonwithit204 He never claimed to be. His doctorate is in Nursing and Nursing Education, which involves training in epidemiology and public policy, rather than hard science or medical science. His introductory video, as well as others, spell it out. That's why he did many fellowships in Africa. That is not "honorary." It is an earned doctorate.
1
@Getonwithit204 Look, I'm being scentz errr d here, and you're allowed to persist. So long.
1
@Getonwithit204 LOL, that which cannot be said.
1
@Getonwithit204 blocked
1
@Getonwithit204 The NIH library of medicine makes available entirely for free peer-reviewed medical research from all over the world, including of course UK, Canada, Australia -- everywhere -- for reading and free download. I'm ill-informed? Me?
