@veramae4098 It's more than a guess, but it is not definitive scientific knowledge, no. If scientific inquiry had not been suppressed, we might know by now. Alas . . . .

@MattHabermehl We don't have definitive answers, and it's obvious why. Inquiry was suppressed. You are correct that circumstantial evidence showing a greater likelihood than not that the virus originated in a lab is sufficient for a lawsuit!

The problem is that it is not conclusive, and we don't know the origins yet -- and the reason we don't is that scientific inquiry was deliberately and systematically stifled. This would tend to show that the virus originated in a laboratory in a court of law, but science is supposed to have a higher standard of evidence than the standard used in law, especially where human DISEASES are concerned.

@rinaf6550 There has been news, but you have to go searching for it. When Fauci said he could not exclude a lab accident, MSM did broadcast that. Likewise when some of his most suspicious emails came out. Weak sauce, true, but those who want to know did notice the shift.

How could any scientist label the hypothesis that the novel coronavirus originated in some sort of laboratory accident a "conspiracy theory?" The fact is, they did not know the origin. Why would they stifle legitimate debate? We might know for certain, now, had we had an open inquiry.
