I've had that experience, where people have shunned me after some tragedy occurred. No thanks. This turned out worse than I had expected. I didn't expect such cowardice.

Vaccines exceeding that threshold are closely scrutinized and often withdrawn. This comes to 200 events per 100,000 doses, according to you. I've never heard such a high rate acknowledged before. Something on the order of 80 per 100,000 is the number I've seen for Pfizer, from reliable sources. (I think something on the order of 70 to 120 per 100,000 is more likely generally, depending on which vaccine.) Say, have you heard? Paxlovid is pretty near worthless.
